Can I sign up for OKX with Google, Apple or Telegram?
The sign-up page usually offers one-tap options such as Google and Apple, and in some versions and regions Telegram. Which ones you see depends on your region and app version.
- Sign in with Apple can hide your real email and give OKX a relay address instead. Remember which address that is if you ever contact support.
- Google sign-up is only as safe as your Google account, so turn on 2-step verification there first.
- You can still enter a referral code. After authorising, OKX asks you to confirm your region and code; check that it shows OK66688.
After a one-tap sign-up, add a login password and link an email or phone in the security centre so your OKX account does not depend on a single third-party login.
Can I sign up for OKX without a phone number?
Yes. Email and one-tap sign-up do not need a phone number. Some features and security settings may ask for one later. Never use public "receive SMS online" numbers: anyone can read those codes.
OKX says my phone number or email is already registered
- You registered years ago and forgot, perhaps back when OKX was OKEx. Try "Forgot password" first.
- Recycled number: your carrier re-issued a number a previous owner used. Register with email instead, or ask OKX support to help.
- Wrong country code: the number was read as a different one.
Do not open extra accounts to collect new-user rewards twice. OKX links accounts that belong to the same person and may cancel the rewards.
What are the OKX password requirements?
An OKX login password is typically 8–32 characters with upper-case and lower-case letters, a number and a symbol; follow what the sign-up page shows.
- Never reuse a password from another site. Credential stuffing is the most common way accounts get taken over.
- Your fund (trading) password is set separately later. Make it different from your login password.
- Choose your real country of residence. It must match the ID you verify with. OKX does not serve some countries and regions, so do not register with someone else's details or a false location.
